Arrangements

In creating this collection, I carefully composed bouquets of fresh flowers—many of them foraged or found in my own garden—and painted them from life in the alla prima style. This technique (completing a painting in a single sitting) requires intense focus from the artist and leads to uniquely expressive paintings characterized by simple and lively brushwork.
